Klupska večer Jabbaton na sceni je prisutna već 7 godina i u tom je vremenu stekla dosta poklonika. Glazbeno se kreću od grimea, dubstepa i sličnih žanrova, ali uvijek s jednim okom prema danceflooru. Ugostili su razne DJ-e i izvođače, a njihovi su rezidenti nastupali na svim važnijim festivalima u regiji. Ovaj put vas pozivaju da im se pridružite, jer nastupiti će direktno iz Londona jedan DJ i jedan MC te mlada ali etablirana hrvatska nada Diyala. TKO SU PLASTICIAN I SP:MC?
Plastician, momak koji dolazi iz Croydona (Engleska) bio je prvi DJ koji je vrtio dubstep i grime u Japanu, Africi i Sjevernoj Americi, a to može samo značiti da ima ono nešto što ga izdvaja iz mora DJ-a. Osim što DJ-ira Plastician je izdao i album ''Beg to differ'' na kojemu surađuje s poznatim Skeptom, a album se vrtio na BBC Radio 1 te je s njega skinuto nekoliko singlova koji su postali čvrsti favoriti u klubovima. Za remixiranje su ga zvali Kosheen, The Black Ghosts i MIA, a osim što redovno puni klubove nakon što je imao emisiju na poznatom BBC Radio 1 on se odlučio na korak dalje i recimo povratak undergroundu sa svojom emisijom na Rinse FM gdje predstavlja najnovije i najsvježije iz dubstep i grime produkcije. Izdavao je za Rephlex Records, Soulja, ROAD, a ima i vlastiti label Terrorythm. Zanimljivo je da prije imao ime Plasticman, ali kad je bio suočen s tužbom Richie Hawtina, čiji je to pseudonim, morao ga je promijeniti u Plastician. Njegovi setovi su energični, mračni, ali i vrlo plesni, a u ovom nastupu će mu pomoći jedan od najtalentiranijih MC-a mlađe generacije SP:MC. Ovaj MC je surađivao s poznatim zvijezdama poput DJ Frictiona, dBridgea i Instra:mentala, a nekoliko je puta nominiran za najboljeg MC-a te se naposlijetku pojavljuje kao suradnik na labelovima poput Hospital, Metalheadz, Good Looking, Tempa ili Shogun. Uz vješto baratanje mikrofonom SP:MC se posvetio i produkciji tako da pod imenom Code 3 izdaje singlove za Tempu, Shogun i Exit etikete. Ako njegove usluge mogu zatražiti Skream, Youngsta i Benga onda je vrijeme da i uživo čujete kako zvuči ovaj brz na jeziku i lak na mikrofonu momak iz Engleske. WHAT IS JABBATON?
Clubnight Jabbaton has been around for 7 years now and during that time it attracted a steady following. The music that they play is a mixture of grime, dubstep and similar genres, but always with one eye on the dancefloor. They hosted various artists, and their residents spinned at all major festivals in the region. Join them for a celebration because directly from London one DJ and an MC will come to perform and a Croatian female MC Diyala will also have a show.
WHO ARE PLASTICIAN AND SP:MC?
Plastician, a young lad which comes from Croydon (England) was the first DJ who spinned dubstep and grime in Japan, North America and Africa which only means that he has that special something that puts him apart from the rest of other DJs. Besides the DJing Plastician released an album ''Beg to Differ'' where he collaborated with Skepta. The album received heavy rotation on BBC 1 Radio and a couple of singles from it were firm club favorites. His remixing skills brought him to Kosheen, The Black Ghosts and MIA, and besides regularly filling the clubs he also had a show on the famous BBC 1 Radio. But staying close to his underground roots he has moved on and now hosts a show on Rinse FM where he presents the latest from dubstep and grime genres. He released for Rephlex Records, Soulja, ROAD and runs his own label Terrorythm. It is an interesting fact that before he was Plastician his name was Plasticman but being faced by a lawsuit from Richie Hawtin (whose moniker is Plastikman) he had to change it. His sets are full of energy, dark, but also made for dancing and his performance will be helped by one of the most talented young MCs out there SP:MC. This MC collaborated with stars like DJ Friction, dBridge and Instra:mental, and was nominated a couple of times as the best MC. He has also contributed to such labels as Metalheadz, Hospital, Good Looking, Tempa and Shogun. Besides his skills as an MC he also started to produce under the name of Code 3 and as such released a couple of singles for Tempa, Shogun and Exit labels. If his services are asked by Skream, Benga or Youngsta then this is the right moment to hear how this quick on the tongue and easy on the mic young lad from England sounds. So for all lovers of dubstep and grime with a vocal MC support this is the party that has to be marked in your calendar as the one not to be missed.
