Zagrebački bend Gin Cooler, koji djeluje od 2002. godine, nije nimalo lako staviti u jednu od ladica. Njihova glazba prelazi žanrovske granice, a melodije se kreću od jazza, soula, bossa nove, world musica, afro glazbe, ali i šire. Nekoć kvartet, Gin Cooler za koncertne promocije uvijek pojačava svoje redove s prijateljima benda, sve odreda vrhunskim glazbenicima tako da studijske verzije pjesama postaju još upečatljivije i moćnije kada se odsviraju uživo. Ove godine izdali su i album prvijenac imena ''Meandar'' s kojeg su već skinuti singlovi poput ''Na Lastovu'' ili pak ''Dovoljno sami'' gdje surađuju sa slovenskom legendom Zoranom Predinom. Da se poslužimo njihovim riječima oni kažu za glazbu da je sloboda izražavanja bez žanrovskih ograničenja, bez nametnutih pravila, nepretenciozna, bez razmišljanja. I zato ako i vi smatrate glazbu jednom snagom koja ruši sve barijere, kako žanrovske tako i međuljudske Gin Cooler je taj koji će vam to pokazati na svojem koncertu. A koncert će pojačati i gosti o kojima se kod nas ne zna baš puno. Zasada. Naime, pojavili su se iznenada, niotkuda, 2010. godine grunuli album ''Gruvlend'', a ostale reference govore da s njima nema šale. Album im je proglašen najboljim prema relevantnom popboks.com siteu za glazbu, a iza sebe su ostavili veličine poput Partibrejkersa, Beogradskog sindikata ili Električnog orgazma. Njihov singl ''Najlepše želje'' šepurio se kao hit godine na uglednom B92 radiju, a na MTV Domaćici su također dosegli prvo mjesto. Oni dolaze iz Srbije, s njima se ne zeza, jer ih ima 11 u bendu. Oni su Zemlja gruva! Glazba koju sviraju je mješavina dobrog popa i funka s posebnim naglaskom na melodiju koja vas nezadrživo tjera na ples. Ovo je bend o kojemu se priča, a pričat će se još i više kada ih pogledate uživo.

Gin Cooler, a band from Zagreb, founded in 2002 is not easy to pin down and hard to put in any genre. Their music overpasses all genre boundaries and their melodies swerve from jazz, soul, bosa nova, world music, afro music and beyond. Once a quartet Gin Cooler for their concerts always gets ''help'' from their friends which are all amazing musicians so their live shows are sometimes different and stronger than their studio versions. This year marks a release of their album ''Meandar'' from which we have singles like ''Na Lastovu'' or ''Dovoljno sami'' where they collaborate with Slovenian legend Zoran Predin. In order to get a bigger picture we will use their own words. They say that their music is a freedom of expression, without genre boundaries, without set rules, unpretentious, without thinking. So if you also consider music to be a force that brings down all the barriers, between genres or even between people, Gin Cooler is the band which will show you exactly that when performing live. The concert will also be supported by a band that is not well known in Croatia. But will be soon enough. They came suddenly, from nowhere, released an album in 2010 called ''Gruvlend'', and other references show that they mean business. Their album was voted the best according to a relevant popboks.com music site and the names like Partibrejkers, Beogradski sindikat and Električni orgazam remained looking at their back. Their single ''Najlepše želje'' paraded as a hit single of the year on one of the best radio stations B92, and it also reached number one in the domestic MTV chart. They come from Serbia, they are not to be messed with, because there are 11 of them. They are Zemlja gruva! The music that they play is a mixture of good pop and funk with a keen ear for melody that simply pushes you towards the dancefloor. This is a band that everyone is talking about, and after the concert you will know why. All you have to do is simply show up because this concert won't happen twice.

Smješten u Parku Ribnjak u centru Purgeraj je otvorio svoja vrata 2003. godine. Od tada je jedan od predvodnika kada su u pitanju studentski izlasci. Skoro uvijek pun, posebno vikendom, ovaj simpatičan klub se sastoji od plesnog podija i unutrašnjeg dijela uz veliku otvorenu terasu. Programski šarolik, ovisno o danu, Purgeraj nudi žive svirke, DJ programe te razne slušaonice. Nedavno preuređen tako da još više nalikuje pravom punokrvnom klubu ovo mjesto zaslužuje vašu pažnju.
In the heart of Ribnjak Park in the center of the city Purgeraj opened its doors in 2003. From then on it is one of the leading venues when it comes to student population. Almost always full, especially on weekends, this friendly club consists of a dancefloor and an inner part with a big open air terrace. Its programmes vary, depending on the day, from live bands over DJ nights to various specialised parties. Recently redecorated so that it resembles a full blown club this place definitely deserves your attention.
